Auld Lang Syne

Here’s one final Holiday tune – “Auld Lang Syne.” It should be familiar to most. It’s arranged in a sort of R&B Chord-Melody style. As with the previous chord-melodies, you should try to hold the chords for as long as possible, letting go of them only when you must, to get the melody or accompaniment parts or to change to the next chord. The chords are given above the notation, so you can see graphically what shapes you will form on the fingerboard. It may look like a lot of chords, but they repeat and most of the smaller shapes are part of a bigger chord. Take your time and keep it steady.
